I create and execute my version of the world through the visions in my mind. The visions live in my daydreams. My artwork is inspired by my life growing up in the south. I tend to look through a warped lens recreating my childhood in an imaginative world, reminiscent of Dr. Seuss. I find myself living in a fantasy, accompanied by beautiful figurines that are my friends and family. They loan themselves as models for the character I imagined and created. My photos still exhibit bits and pieces from their everyday lives. They constantly share their version of the world around them. We act like children and don’t have any plans of changing that. I yearn to be a child again. I loved the carefree breathing and the constant excitement; when life was so hot that it burned blue.
